DIRECTV: ‘Nothing on Your Roof’

Challenge

To bring DIRECTV’s ‘Nothing on Your Roof’ campaign to life by designing a fan-led experience and PR stunt, in partnership with TBWA within a 5-week window. 

Solution

We created a jaw-dropping, 30-foot tall, giant inflatable model of football star, George Kittle’s head in the heart of San Francisco at the state renowned Marina Green. The PR stunt, with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background, paved the way for the ultimate tailgate party. 

The following day we brought the activation to the Hilton Santa Clara where we designed an amplified experience complete with interactive football themed games, playful photo ops and free merch to immerse VIPs, fans and passers-by in the ultimate game-day atmosphere.   

Guests were invited inside the DIRECTV satellite free house to learn more about the brand, use custom AR filters and received tokens to redeem at food trucks serving up classic American treats.  

Fans were also treated to surprise appearances from 49ers legends Jerry Rice and Frank Gore, and cheerleader performances added to the vibrant, all-American spirit throughout the day.
