Converse Renew

Showcase the Converse Renew collection to the public and engage the brand’s audience in the spirit of renewing what they do

Converse Renew is a collection of sneakers created using recycled plastic bottles so we created a pop-up in Kings Cross’ Coal Drops Yard which was built solely from locally sourced, recycled materials.

Over the course of three days a series of events were hosted in the space, which were intended to engage the Converse and Kings Cross communities.

Training sessions were held for Converse retailers and the space was open to the public for interactive sessions with Lava La Rue and her DIY art collective NiNE8 and Precious Plastics. Jason Markk was also on hand to renew old Converse sneakers and give them a new life!
